Calendar and Fees

The Early Childhood calendar closely follows the Poudre School District calendar during the academic school year (see calendar). Summer sessions are also available. Parents sign a contract for a specific number of days per week on a particular schedule from Aug thru May. Charges are per day. Parents are pre-billed monthly. We do not offer drop in child care. No vacation or sick time is issued.

Financial Assistance

To help reduce the costs of child care for low income student-parents, Colorado State University’s Early Childhood Center is offering funding through the United States Department of Education Helping Hands program. The grant program, CCAMPIS Child Care Access Means Parents in School, assists in reducing child care costs for Pell Grant recipients and low-income undergraduate students. In order for students to be eligible for the monies, a Free Application for Student Aid must be completed at CSU’s Student Financial Services office or online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Parents must have children enrolled in the center to be eligible. For questions contact 970-491-7082.

University Closures

Parents can assume the Early Childhood Center will be closed if Colorado State University is closed. You may call 491-SNOW to determine if the University is closed due to inclement weather.
